Fans of Neill Blomkamp should make their way to Twitch this evening, with a live stream happening of his awesome new short movies. The Oats Studios channel on Twitch is set to go live at 20:00, with screenings of Rakka, Firebase, Adam and Lima. Afterwards, there is set to be a Q+A with Blomkamp, as well as art director Rich Simpson and VFX supervisor, Chris Harvey.

These short films must have cost a pretty penny to produce, starring for example Sigourney Weaver and Dakota Fanning, and the live stream should involve the launch of a crowdfunding campaign. On the Oats Studios website a “Fuel” page can be viewed, which is set to be powered by Shopify. This makes us believe that it could be a shop/donation page that will be going live later today.

If you haven’t seen any of Blomkamp’s newest stuff, have a look at a few of the movies below.
