Admittedly, Bloodborne is looking like it’s set to be one of the more tantalizing new IPs being launched this year, and no less so since the latest video for the game shows off one of the monstrous bosses players will be squaring off against.

Called the Darkbeast, its size would be intimidating enough on its own, added to this is the fact that it approximates the bizarre result of a carnal relationship between a T-Rex and an electric eel. Making matters worse, it doesn’t have ridiculously undersized front paws, and it doesn’t need you to venture into the water in order to provide you with a shocking encounter.

Suddenly, Bloodborne’s weighty weapons make loads of sense; but here’s the bad news – it still looks like against this monster, you may as well be fighting it with a knife and a fork. Carefully venture down to trailer below if you need your excitement for the game, launching later this month, amped up.
