Bryan Singer reportedly set to direct X-Men: Apocalypse follow-up film
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 18 November 2015 | Categories: newsBryan Singer is clearly the go-to guy for X-Men films. Currently putting the finishing touches on X-Men: Apocalypse (which we are still to see an official trailer for), Singer is reportedly set to direct the next film as well. According to Heroic Hollywood, shooting for the yet-to-be-named movie begins in 2017, which is scheduled to take place in Montreal, Canada.
The details of the new film remain murky, but IGN says Professor Xavier (the young James McAvoy version) and Magneto (played by Michael Fassbender) are set to return, which puts a spoiler on their fates in Apocalypse. Unclear at this stage too, is when the next film will debut in cinemas, with Heroic Hollywood hedging its bets on late 2018.
While a trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse is incoming, it appears that there is plenty of comic book-inspired films to enjoy in the next few years.
