Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare reveal trailer takes things off-planet
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 3 May 2016 | Categories: newsWhile many of us were enjoying our Worker's Day long weekend, Activision was busy uploading videos for its latest Call of Duty game - Infinite Warfare. Building on the gameplay elements we've seen in Advanced Warfare and Black Ops III, this new offering takes things into outer space, adding a zero gravity environment, as well as spacecraft to the mix. Before the actual reveal trailer was released, Activision debuted a teaser where the Settlement Defence Front laid out a warning to "Know your enemy."
The subsequent reveal trailer picks up where that left off, as gamers will take on the role of Captain Reyes for the Infinite Warfare's campaign mode. Reyes and his team of fighters are not simply stuck in space however, with the trailer below showcasing gameplay on foreign planets, along with large mech suits and robots to tussle with.
Infinite Warfare is currently available on pre-order on PS4 and Xbox One only. Those that opt to pre-order the Legacy Edition will also receive a remastered version of COD: Modern Warfare.
The latest addition to the COD franchise is slated for a 4 November release, so we'll no doubt see more trailers and gameplay in coming months. In the meantime, hit play on the trailer after the break and enjoy.
