If you’re a Canon fan, waking up to the news of the EOS 5D Mark IV (plus two lenses) surely must have brightened up your day. 30.4 megapixels, 7 fps and 4K movies – what’s not to like? Locally, the folks at Canon SA have been keeping very busy, shooting a new Click Video Mag just this morning.

As you can imagine, it’s all about the 5D IV, with Roger Machin and Abri Kriegler taking you through the ins and outs of this new beast. They also feature the new EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM and EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM lenses, and the Wi-Fi card that brings wireless capabilities to the 7D Mark II, EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R.

Two of our Canon Series participants, Clinton Lubbe and Quintin Mills, have had the chance to play around with the camera, and during the video (43 minutes in duration, so grab a coffee…) also give their opinions.

If you haven’t got that amount of time to spare, Lubbe shares his thoughts in a super quick 60 second video just below, also chatting to Machin about its features in the second video.

Scott Kelby from Kelbyone.com also had a first look at the camera, which he calls “totally awesome” and “quite an upgrade” from the Mark III. If you have four minutes to spare, check it out below.

If you’re thinking of purchasing the 5D IV for wedding shoots, wedding photographer Vanessa Joy puts the camera through its paces during an engagement shoot. She runs through all the features in the process, and touches on the new lenses a bit later on.

DPReview.com does a quick rundown – far from a their usually extensive reviews – mentioning all the new features and showing the focus tracking in action. The video is pretty straightforward and complementary, although they did critique the 5D Mark IV’s 4K recording in motion JPG only.

If it is a better rundown of specs you’re after, Wex Photographic goes through everything in a hands-on preview below.

Finally, if all of these aren’t enough, just admire the 5D IV in a couple of introductory videos from Canon USA, at the same time thinking where you’re going to scrape together the bucks to buy one.
