Latest leak of LG's V20 confirms second screen still a feature
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 25 August 2016 | Categories: newsLG's new device for the latter part of 2016 is the V20. The device has garnered a bit of attention, as it will be first smartphone to sport Android 7.0 Nougat straight out the box. We initially expected LG to unveil the V20 at IFA 2016, happening next week, but the South Korean manufacturer has instead readied it for a 6 September-dated event in San Francisco, California. The latest piece of news about the V20 sees a leaked image surface via Evan Blass (@EVleaks) on Twitter.

The image is fairly non-descript, except for the inclusion of a second screen. This ancillary notification window was first used on the V20's predecessor, as well as the LG G5. Whether or not LG has enhanced it in any way for this iteration, remains to be seen, especially as it did not feature a mass of useful information on the predecessor.
We should get a clearer idea of this come 6 September, but the V20's local arrival is still unclear for now. With the G5 being LG's go-to flagship in SA, the V20 might suffer the same fate as its predecessor and skip a launch in South Africa altogether.
