Casio teams up with Supra again for new timepieces
By Staff Writer 5 August 2015 | Categories: newsAfter going all retro colours with their DW5600PM, Casio is teaming up with footwear manufacturer, Supra. It is not their first collaboration, as they also worked previously on the GA200SPR-1A timepiece awhile back. This time round they have come up with two custom timepieces and two silhouette sneakers for the Supra x G-Shock Series.
The limited edition G-Shock x Supra GDX6900SP-1 timepiece includes a 360 polka dot patterned design on a matte black bezel standard that is shock resistant, 200 m water resistant, has a 1/100th sec stopwatch, 12/24 format, mute option and world time. Added features include a Multi-Home Time 4 option, Auto LED Super Illuminator and a 10-year battery.
The inspiration for the black G-SHOCK x SUPRA sneaker has its roots in professional skateboarder Stevie Williams' signature Estaban Supra model.
Along with the GDX6900SP-1 for men is the GMDS6900SP-7 G-Shock x Supra timepiece for women. The white timepiece includes a 360 polka dot patterned design, 200 m water and shock resistance features, 2 Multi Alarm + 1SNZ and World Time (29TZ/48 cities and 12/24 hour formats). The model further features a 24 hour countdown timer, mute function, 1/100th Sec 24Hr stopwatch and EL backlight with bright flash alert.
There are no price details yet, but the watches are set to hit South Africa in about ten days’ time.
