ColorWare debuts $200 NES-inspired Joy-Cons for the Nintendo Switch
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 4 July 2017 | Categories: newsThe past couple weeks have seen a couple retro-styled consoles get revealed by Nintendo, but what is a gamer that purchased the modern Nintendo Switch to do? How about these NES-inspired Joy-Con controllers from ColorWare?
The company specialises in custom paintjobs for accessories, and have been producing unique versions of the Joy-Cons since April this year. The latest offering might be the most tempting to date, decked out in light and dark grey, with red accents for the buttons.
If you're aiming to get your hands on a pair, it's going to cost you, with ColorWare listing them at $199. Added to that is the four weeks shipping time that must be accounted for too. If they retro look doesn't quite do it for you, ColorWare also has a number of Joy-Con options at a slightly more reasonable $149.
