Destiny 2's first expansion, Curse of Osiris, receives launch trailer
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 5 December 2017 | Categories: newsToday may just be another Tuesday for some, but for fans of Destiny it marks the release of the sequel's first expansion - Curse of Osiris. To mark the occasion, as well as entice would-be gamers, a launch trailer has arrived detailing what the expansion will touch on.
In it we travel to Mercury and encounter Brother Vance, who leads the followers of Osiris, one of the most notorious Guardians in history. Along with exploring the planet, which has been taken over by the Vex, gamers will have to unearth the mystery that surrounds Osiris and his imminent return.
There is also a new social space for this expansion called the Lighthouse, which serves as a makeshift Citadel on Mercury. As with all expansions, Curse of Osiris will bring new co-op activities, raids and strikes to the fore, once you're done with the campaign.
Those that have pre-ordered the expansion can begin to download their DLC around 18:00 (SAST) today, and then play the Curse of Osiris once Bungie's server maintenance ends at roughly 20:00 (SAST).
