Developers have six indie titles porting to the Nintendo Switch
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 12 February 2018 | Categories: newsOver the weekend Nintendo released a number of trailers for upcoming Switch games. That's nothing new for the Japanese company, but what made this announcement noteworthy was that the six titles in total were coming from indie developers, with TinyBuild's creepy Hello Neighbor leading the charge.
Joining that title in the port over to the Nintendo Switch are The Final Station from Do My Best Games, ClusterTruck by Landfall Games, Lazy Bear Games' Punch Club, Party Hard by Pinokl Games and Streets of Rogue from creator Matt Dabrowski.
All the titles expect Hello Neighbor will be sold at roughly $15, with the TinyBuild's game costing an estimated $40. At this stage, there are no fixed release dates for the above listed indie games, but they're expected to make their way to the Switch by the year's end.
With Nintendo's latest console buoyed by its exclusive titles like Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey, adding more indie titles to the mix will help bolster its roster as well as attract more independent developers to the platform.
