Dying Light (review) is doing anything but playing dead, as the latest news is that the forthcoming DLC, The Following has been given a release window. Thankfully it’s not too far away now, slated for arrival in the first quarter of next year.

The tantalising part of this is that the developers have promised The Following will not only boast the largest yet map to explore, but a dune buggy to traverse it and a crossbow to make impromptu shish kebabs.

If you are bereft that Fear the Walking Dead has taken a break, and Rick and the gang are yet to grace our screens just yet, then at least this is some consolation. Alternatively, if you have already slaked your zombie thirst by already playing or replaying the game and watching World War Z for the fifth time, you can always go to the mall and watch actual people shuffle along with the eyes fixated on the palms of their hands.

And no, using a crowbar to nudge the talking half sentient who seems oblivious to you, and everyone else standing behind them waiting for them to exit the elevator isn’t an appropriate response. Just so you know.

In the meantime, you can take a look at the trailer below, it will no doubt really help your aquaphobia.
