EA makes Champions League officially part of FIFA 19
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 11 June 2018 | Categories: newsStill hurting from that Champions League final loss to Madrid? Well the next iteration in the FIFA franchise will allow Liverpool (and any other licensed in-game team) to try and lift the official Champions League trophy, as a new trailer for FIFA 19 confirms the addition of the competition to the game.
The trailer focuses on cover star Cristiano Ronaldo, highlighting a few iconic moments from the past campaign, along with that instantly recognisable Champions League anthem serving as the soundtrack.
With licensing being one of FIFA's major advantages over rival PES, adding the Champions League to the mix will certainly cement its place as the go-to football title for gamers. FIFA 19 is set to make its cross-platform debut on 28 September, but we're sure more information about the gameplay will be revealed before then.
In the interim, give the trailer below a watch.
