Fallout 4 install size revealed
By Ryan Noik 9 October 2015 | Categories: newsTo say that anticipation for Fallout 4, arriving early November, is high would be an understatement, but one would expect a game of its scope to have a hefty installation size. If you do, you wouldn’t be wrong. Bethesda has confirmed that the game will lay claim to 28 GB to 35 GB worth of space on PS4 and Xbox One.
The 7 GB variance depends upon the region in which you will be playing, as some languages needed will likely require more space than others. For a more detailed list of the languages supported, take a look at the below.
· In North America, Fallout 4 supports English/French voice/text.
· In South America, Fallout 4 supports English voice/text, as well as BR-PT and Latin American Spanish text.
· In the United Kingdom and Australia/New Zealand, Fallout 4 supports English voice/text only.
· In most European territories, Fallout 4 supports English/French/Italian/German/Spanish voice/text
· In Russia and Poland, Fallout 4 supports English voice/text and Polish/Russian text.
· In Asia, Fallout 4 supports English voice/text and English voice / Traditional Chinese text.
· In Japan, Fallout 4 supports Japanese voice/text.
The likelihood is that South Africa, like the UK, will support English voice/text only, which hopefully will mean that players in this region will fall on the lower end of the install size scale. Still, it can’t hurt to free up as much space as you can. Alternatively, if your PS4 or Xbox One is already groaning under the weight of the games demanding console space, it may be a good time to upgrade or supplement your hard drive space respectively.
That is not the only Fallout 4 related news coming from Bethesda though, the company also confirmed that the PipBoy App for Android and iOS, will be arriving on the 10th of November as well.
