Google's newly christened Android Nougat mobile OS is set for release sometime in August. For Android fiends, however, the wait might simply be too long. To that end, the Android Developer Blog has confirmed that the Final Preview (5) version of the OS is available to download for all Preview members.

Along with being the last milestone in Android 7.0's preview phase, this version features the final few pieces of the operating system. Although not detailed in full by the blog, the highlights include an emulator for final testing of apps to ensure their readiness, APIs for latest system behaviour and UI, as well as bug fixes for pre-installed apps across the system.

If you have not opted-in for the Android Beta program, and want to check out Nougat, you can still do so and download Developer Preview 5. The Blog notes that the preview will work on all the latest Nexus devices, as well as many 4G/LTE compatible Android ones.
