The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is kind-of a big deal, since not just does the vast world of The Elder Scrolls head online, but it’s also free to play. If you purchase the game once-off you don’t have to pay a monthly subscription fee as you have to do with many other MMORPGs.

As you may or may not know, there has been a video series going around aimed at new players and those owning a console, who have not been able to sink into Tamriel Unlimited’s vast world just yet. The final instalment of the series has been released this week, entitled Exploring Tamriel. It highlights the game’s expansive world, from hunting the forces of Molag Bal, to gathering natural resources for crafting, to plundering ancient ruins for treasure.

Tamriel Unlimited will be supported with optional downloadable content available for purchase and an in-game Crown Store for convenience and customisation items. In addition, Bethesda will offer ESO Plus to players who wish to pay a single monthly charge for  a premium membership service, providing exclusive in-game bonuses, a monthly allotment of crowns to use in the store and access to all DLC game packs while a member.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is available already on PC/Mac and arriving on Xbox One and PS4 on June 9th. Check the video below to see what the fuss is about.
