Publisher Ubisoft has been quite busy this week, debuting four new teaser trailers for Far Cry 5 which detail the new American pastoral locale for the latest installment in the franchise. It's a stark contrast to the Wooly Mammoth and Sabertooth Tiger filled world of Far Cry Primal, and should offer a few more choices in terms of firepower for gamers. 

That's pretty much all we know for now, but later this week (26 May) Ubisoft will be releasing a fully fledged trailer which should hopefully provide more info on what Far Cry 5 will have in store. 

What we can interpret from the four vignettes below though, is that things are far from what they seem in the world of Hope County, Montana. The first video for example, features a beautiful pan of a river. Everything seems to be normal, but soon a dead body floats by, pointing to something far more sinister. 

Will Far Cry 5 deal with some sort of The Handmaid's Tale dystopian world, or perhaps a David Koresh-esque cult? We should have a better idea on 26 May. Until then, watch the vignettes below.
