A small sampler of what the game has in store, however, can be enjoyed a bit later this month, 27 April to be more precise. The developer announcing a free demo version of the game for PS4 and Xbox One owners.
Titled Prey: Opening Hour, it will allow gamers to take on the role of main protagonist Morgan Yu (male or female), as you awaken on the Talos I spacecraft that is seemingly empty. A closer inspection reveals something far more sinister in the form of Mimics, which you'll have to fend off. Luckily, you've been imbued with some alien powers of your own to help level the playing field.
A mixture of combat, puzzle solving and tense storytelling, Prey should be yet another great first-person title from Bethesda. Find out more about the demo by hitting play on the video below.
