While taking a break from the raft of interesting products at Computex that we have managed to go hands on with so far, we stumbled across a particularly beautifully modded PC box that we simply had to share with you. Our first thought - is it a PC or is it a piece of art decor? Apparently, both. It was made only the more geek-worthy by the fact that we came across it in the tallest building in the world - Taipei's 101 Tower, which is a little more than half a km high (508 metres, to be exact).

Alas, it was not on sale, but certainly served as an attractive and inspirational piece for creative modders to garner some ideas and make their own. What may not be fully apparent in the picture - but is evident when you see the design in the flesh, is that those gears are not just painted on but are attached to, and protrude from, the PC box itself. The entire assembly look convincingly metallic, and the whole box has a masterfully weathered look and feel to it as well.

It makes a very convincing case (no pun intended) for the often dismissed PC box to be dragged out from under the desk - or, if you have shaved yours into the bowels of your garage, and turned into an artistic piece of modern art that can easily take pride of place in one's lounge.
