Google has an OTA (Over The Air) update lined up for its Nexus 5X smartphone, built by LG. The update is said to address several issues, according to Google, but precisely what these are is unclear at this stage. A recent Reddit post shed some light on this, with a Google community manager saying that the update would fix issues surrounding the 5X's slow and sluggish performance.

While this explanation did not pinpoint some of the issues, it is believed that the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity will be fine tuned. Added to this, some Reddit users mentioned that the 5X's camera proved very buggy, either launching very slowly when selected, and in some cases not launching at all.

Whether or not the update will address the camera issue cited by some users is unclear, but Google says the update has already begun rolling out in some parts of the globe, reaching all users over the coming weeks.
