Among the weighty concerns that face the world such as climate change, hunger and cruelty to animals, at least one is coming closer to being answered. That’s right, it has almost been confirmed that Halo’s Master Chief is somewhat a brunette if not a slight redhead.

This at least, according  to a terrific new trailer for animated mini-series Halo: The Fall of Reach. This incidentally, will be part of the Halo 5 digital deluxe edition, limited edition and collector’s edition.

Judging by the trailer, it looks pretty enticing. In it, we see a young Master Chief, who has very definitely darker brown to slightly reddish hair, prior to when he wore a helmet full time. He is also as stoic as you would imagine the man behind the helmet being.  This is for good reason; we would too if our childhood and adolescence were traded to become the best soldier imaginable and the savior of humanity

Apart from spurring on the debate whether he is a true brunette or leaning towards being a redhead, the trailer is compelling reason to dive back into the Halo mythos when Halo 5: Guardians launches towards the end of this month.
