Hot New Trailers: The Martian

The Martian is set to be one of the blockbusters of the next few months. After a heart stirring first trailer, a second one has now been released to drum up even more enthusiasm. It relies heavily on Hendrix’s rendition of All Along the Watchtower (as does the new Mafia III trailer), but reveals little more about the movie than what we already sourced from the first trailer. Mark Watney (Matt Damon) is still busy attempting to, “science the sh*t out of this,” fast becoming the greatest botanist on Mars.

Based on Andy Weir’s best selling book, the film is directed by Ridley Scott, which we can only hope and pray provides us with something better than Prometheus. Also onboard are two of our favourites, Donald Glover (Community) and Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids). Click the trailer below to “Bring him home”.
