Kinetic is delighted to announce that Deputy Minister Michael Masutha of the Department of Science and Technology will address delegates in his opening keynote at the 2014 IT Leaders Africa Summit next month.
In addition to the Deputy Minister, confirmed speakers at this event include Mandla Mkhwanazi the CIO of Transnet, Julius Segole the Director of BIO for Standard Bank and Franz Hirschberg the IT Director of Pernod Ricard for Sub Saharan Africa. Franz has signed up to take part in a panel discussion on The Power of Unified Communications with guest speakers Chandima Miyanadeniya the CIO of Aon SA and Deon Myburgh the Manager of IT Operations at Medi-Clinic.
Mandla and Julius will be joined by Gavin Kandier the Head of Technology at Zurich South Africa on a panel that will discuss The emerging role of the Chief Data Officer or CDO. Our panellists will expand on how information management is no longer recognized exclusively as an IT responsibility and the other departments that are making their way into the IT landscape. Find out how CIOs can establish good working relationships with chief data officers, chief digital officers or equivalent roles introduced to support the digital strategy.
