Image Comics celebrates 25th birthday with massive Humble Bundle
By Thomas McKinnon 20 January 2017 | Categories: newsOne of our favourite comic publishers are celebrating their 25th birthday on Humble Bundle, and this one is worth saving up for. Usually there are three payment tiers involved in the Humble Book Bundle, but we suppose since Image Comics creates such freaking awesome comics, they had to expand these.
While you can pay what you want for the first range of comics, and $5 or more for the second, these only offer the first issues for a number of titles. The real meat lies in the $10 tier where you start getting the first complete volumes of comics, including the amazing Rat Queens, some sweet horror in the form of Nailbiter, and Todd McFarlane’s Spawn Origins Collection (btw - are we not long overdue for a remake of the Spawn movie?).
$15 will get you the finger-licking-good Chew, the fun-as-hell Rumble, and grants you entry into the vast realm of East of West, amongst others. If you are willing to drop $20, be prepared for some real awesomeness in the form of the Saga Book 1, which collects the first 18 books, the horrific Outcast created by Robert Kirkman of The Walking Dead fame (and which was turned into a TV series), and Skottie Young’s quite spectacular I Hate Fairyland, a much needed twist on fairy tales. In total you get a massive $428 worth of comics for your $20 of hard earned moolah.
Finally, if you really want to splash, pay $25 to also unlock an ISOLA, Island of the Dead Letterpress Print, exclusive to Humble Bundle.
If you are into RPG, or extra comics, these are available in the Humble RPG Book Bundle: Pathfinder Worldscape presented by Paizo and Dynamite, which can be accessed here.
