Kickstarter has existed in the mobile space as an iOS app for some time. It's the turn of Android users now, with the crowdfunding platform releasing an Material Design version yesterday. Like its iOS counterpart, the focus is on discovery. To that end, Kickstarter has integrated an activity feed to make the entire experience a bit more personalised.

The activity feed can do a number of things, with links to projects that your friends have recently backed, to the latest creations from projects you've backed in the past. It will also include all the news that is currently happening on the platform, as well as projects that are garnering plenty of interest.

Kickstarter also notes that this is only version 1.0, with more updates and new tools expected in coming months. The app is currently available for free download for any Android device sporting 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and up, although backing multiple projects can become far from free.
