Seems like Lexus still has some marketing budget left before the year comes to an end. Just check out the Japanese carmaker's latest project, a Lexus IS covered in 41 999 programmable LED lights. The company performed a similar feat recently for a live advertisement in New York's Time Square, but this video showcases more LED lights than the previous attempt did.   

While 41 999 is indeed an impressive number, we're still wondering why they couldn't cram at least one more LED light on there to make it a nice round 42 000. Nevertheless, the result is quite something, as the "LIT IS" as it's been christened, runs through multiple light designs. 

Lexus was not only able to make the LIT IS light up in various patterns, but also respond to outside objects too. The driver for example, can approach the car and have it light up all at once with a simple raising of their hands. 

The LIT IS will likely never be seen cruising the streets at night, but it could make for a great choice of car for Jared Leto's Joker. Press play on the ‘Signals’ video below and watch the LIT IS do its thing.
