By Robin-Leigh Chetty 22 May 2015 | Categories: newsIf you ever played Dungeons & Dragons as a kid, and still have a hankering for it now, chances are getting together a bunch of friends to play with is a little hard. Getting them to play an MMORPG however, might prove a tad easier. It's probably a fortuitous roll of dice then that Neverwinter: Strongholds has been announced for PC and Xbox One.
The free-to-play game lends heavily from Dungeons & Dragons lore, and more specifically the Forgotten Realms universe of Wizards of the Coast. If we've lost you slightly, all you need know is that if you're looking for an engaging storyline, and not simply an open-world to explore, Neverwinter: Strongholds got you covered.
Along with the free-to-play, multiplayer combat and large open-world to explore, Neverwinter: Strongholds will also add The Foundry. This is a specific creating tool set for gamers to design their own sandbox environments. Although the game's exact release date is unknown, MMORPG gamers can expect it in coming months.
