The official Mad Max (now sans Savage Road) game, which thankfully looks just as good as its silver screen counterpart, has just revealed a new trailer. In it, the various fortified garrisons, or "strongholds" as developers Avalanche Studios likes to call them, get highlighted.

We've been quite impressed with the early showings of Mad Max, with the mixture of a Red Dead Redemption-esque sandbox and visceral gameplay making a rather potent concoction. This new Stronghold trailer adds to the hype, with our titular protagonist riding his Magnum Opus across the post-apocalyptic wasteland.

It's not all barren however, as on his journey, Max encounters other survivors who've made fortified structures to protect themselves from the ever-menacing and quite crazy warboys. As such, it appears as if Max tries to find some sort of humanity by helping the survivors as only he knows how - with his fists.
