San Francisco played the stage to a Marvel event early this morning, as the company discussed its future plans and ventures. Although we are well aware of Marvel's pipeline of films for the next few years, the company's video game side of the business drew a bit more attention this time round. As such, Marvel has just announced a partnership with Telltale Games, a developer which has worked on the likes of The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and more recently Game of Thrones.

Now Marvel's cache of intellectual property will be getting the treatment from Telltale, as it took to its blog to confirm the news. "We're excited to reveal an all-new partnership with the incredible team at Marvel Entertainment," stated Telltale in an official statement. The partnership is slated to result in a game series project in 2017, although the finer details are still a mystery.

Along with the announcement of the partnership, Telltale stated that more updates would be revealed in coming months.
