Mercedes-Benz previews Concept EQA ahead of Frankfurt Motor Show debut
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 8 September 2017 | Categories: NewsThe Frankfurt Motor Show kicks off next week (14-24 September), and for one German carmaker it will prove significant. The manufacturer in question is Mercedes-Benz, with the company recently teasing one of the cars it places to showcase in the form of the Concept EQA.
Like many of Mercedes-Benz's concepts of late, the EQA is an all-electric vehicle, and is part of a group of 10 EVs they plan to unveil by 2022.
At this stage, it's unclear whether the EQA will make its way to the factory floor for fully fledged production, but given its hatchback stylings, as well as the company's ambitions for EVs, it could very well be seen on our roads soon.
As far as the specifications of the vehicle goes, little is known, with Mercedes-Benz expected to detail the electric motor, battery, driving range and added technologies it will be touting next week. With EVs coming into sharper focus of late, it should be an interesting next few years for the motoring industry.
Check out the teaser for the Concept EQA below, before it makes its full debut in Frankfurt.
