By Robin-Leigh Chetty 16 February 2017 | Categories: newsIf you've been patiently awaiting more details about Microsoft's 4K-supporting Project Scorpio console, the company plans to reveal all on 11 June 2017 for E3. Microsoft announced when it would be unveiling the new console via Twitter, which is also a change in the usual date it reserves for its E3 press briefing.
Furthermore, it will be taking place at midnight (SAST), which means plenty of coffee and Red Bull will be needed to stay up and see what Project Scorpio is all about.

For now, no further details about the console have been revealed, despite our best efforts to squeeze out some information from Xbox South Africa at rAge last year. All that is known, is that Project Scorpio will cater to 4K gaming, with several publishers said to be developing titles for the platform. It may also retail for under $600, according to Xbox head, Phil Spencer.
