Gaming peripheral maker Logitech G has launched two new headsets into the gaming market, the G433 7.1 and the G233 Prodigy.

According to the company, both headsets feature advanced Pro-G drivers made with hybrid mesh materials that provide high-quality audio. Logitech G asserts that sound quality has been optimised for analogue reproduction and digital USB output, so the sound profile should be accurate on any source.

The G433 7.1

The Logitech G433 seems like the one to get, since it makes use of DTS Headphone:X 7.1, which replicates 7.1 speaker placement and audio positioning, while allowing for the adjustment of volume levels for each of the seven audio channels. As far as communication is concerned, both are equipped with a boom microphone and a micro pop filter, while they are Discord Certified.

Logitech G states both headsets feature sports mesh ear pads that are breathable and can be removed for cleaning. The Logitech G433 comes with with a second set of microfiber ear pads, so you get a choice of what material is more comfortable.

The G233

The G233 will be appearing in a soft-touch black material with Cyan Blue ear pads. This while the Logitech G433 features a hydrophobic, stain-resistant fabric finish that comes in four colours: Royal Blue, Fire Red, Triple Black and Camo Blue (not available in SA).

Although Logitech G stated June availability, we couldn’t yet find them online to purchase just yet. Local pricing is not known yet, so we recommend holding tight for a few weeks more. In the meantime, check out the G433 product video below.
