New Halo 5 gameplay launch trailer hunts for the truth
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 13 October 2015 | Categories: newsArguably the biggest title in Microsoft's stable of games for 2015, a lot is expected from Halo 5: Guardians. While much of this hype has been drummed up by the media, Microsoft has also played its part, declaring Guardians the most significant title in the franchise with each new trailer that debuts. This latest one is no different, and ushers in some of the gameplay elements gamers can expect when Guardians releases on 27 October.
Much of the gameplay centres around the hunt. Where Spartan Locke and his team try to track down and capture Halo's hero, Master Chief. Although Master Chief has always been the gold standard as far as Spartans are concerned, he seems to have switched allegiances, for some unknown reason. As such, there seems to be a greater mystery at work here, something that gamers will no doubt uncover in a couple of weeks.
Until then, click on the trailer below to see what Halo 5: Guardians is bringing to the fore. For us, if developers 343 Industries can make the gameplay as fast as it has promised, this could very well be the most significant game in the franchise.
