In less than two months, we'll be able to tackle the Mimics that have infested the Talos I as Morgan Yu in Bethesda's Prey. But how did the aliens overrun the spaceship? A new trailer from Bethesda may have given us some clues as to their arrival.

Titled Typhon Research, the video comes courtesy of TranStar Corporation, and looks at the alien species of the same name, as well as the different types of Typhon that are known to exist. Their ability to evolve at a rapid pace is also explained, as we watch footage of the Mimic Phantom and Mimic Telepath in action.

Precisely how the Typhon Mimics found their way onto the Talos I is unknown for now, but it appears as if the spaceship was originally intended as a research vessel. Now, however the organisms being studied seem to have escaped.
