It’s hard to believe that the wait for Rise of the Tomb Raider, at least on Xbox One, is almost at an end. But November is just around the corner, and one of our most anticipated games of 2015 is only a few weeks away from launch.

Leading up to the forthcoming Rise of the Tomb Raider, a new three part video series called Woman vs Wild has dropped. The first entry, Harsh Environments, takes a more intimate look at the environments in which Lara will find herself having to scrounge for salvage, traverse, deal with both human and animal threats and survive.

The video also shows a little bit more of the crafting system that players will be able to dip into, and even more alluringly, some of the special areas and distinctive items she can find or earn for completing challenges. What is really clear is that how more fleshed out the upcoming entry is when compared the first, which already offered a good amount to discover and do. However, it looks like this time around Lara will be able to cultivate friends or at least allies within her environment, while of course dealing with a new set of foes.
