New trailer for The Sinking City released
By Staff Writer 3 August 2018 | Categories: newsPlayers have been spoilt for choice at this time of year, at least when it comes to new trailers. Following in the wake of the new Shadow of the Tomb Raider trailer is this one for The Sinking City, an open world, action investigation game inspired by the work of H.P. Lovecraft.
The new trailer divulges more elements about its main character’s mental state, his interaction with the immersive sprawling open city of Oakmont and the game’s unsettling atmosphere.
The game focuses on Charles W. Reed, a private investigator in New England in the 1920s. Tortured by his past and otherworldly visions, he finds himself in Oakmont, Massachusetts, seeking salvation from the creeping insanity that afflicts him.
It’s not just Reed’s mind where things are not well, the city of Oakmont is similarly having a really bad century, in secluded isolation from the rest of the world under a flood of supernatural origins. In other words, if you liked Bloodborne, this is probably a title you are going to want to check out as well.
Take a look at the trailer below to see if it rings your bell ahead of its release on the PS4, Xbox One and PC in March.
