Ninja Theory not focusing on more DmC
By Ryan Noik 2 April 2015 | Categories: newsAt the risk of being the bearer of bad news, it seems that there is nothing else as yet planned for the DmC franchise. Alas, it looks like the future of DmC:Devil May Cry (review) is somewhat murky at the moment. Following the release of DmC Devil May Cry Definitive Edition for the PS4, the developers have commented that they are not working on anything else DmC related.
The studio’s product development manager, Dominic Matthews, has further commented that nothing else is planned, at least at the moment, which is disappointing news for those of us who couldn’t get enough of the rebooted franchise.
Apparently, the ball is solely in Capcom’s court, whether it chooses to pursue the franchise (yes, please!) or toss it in the air and slice and dice its future to death (no!) is their call as they own the intellectual property.
The one silver lining is that Ninja Theory is not resting idle, currently working on a new IP called Hellblade.
