PUMA FUSE shoe hits the cross-training market
By Staff Writer 21 January 2021 | Categories: newsIf cross-training is your thing, then PUMA has some shoes for you. The company believes they have reconfigured the industry’s basic cross-training shoe, with the result being the all-new FUSE strength trainer.
Designed in partnership with PUMA’s athletes, the community shared their training insights to engineer a shoe made to withstand the toughest workouts. With a 4 mm drop and a wide toe box, the FUSE gives you a stable stance while the internal midsole provides shock absorption. To kick it up a notch, durable PUMAGRIP provides all-purpose traction while a TPU heel clip offers a boost of support.
Key details of the Fuse include:
- GRIP: PUMAGRIP rubber for maximum traction and durability during training movements.
- SUPPORT: TPU heel clip for support where you need it most.
- STABILITY: Low and wide with an internal midsole for a stable stance.
The FUSE has been tried and tested by PUMA’s athletes, including World Cup winning rugby star Lukhanyo Am and Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton. Talking about new shoe, PUMA ambassador Lukhanyo Am notes, "The Fuse is very comfortable on the foot and it’s very light. A great all round strength training shoe, something specific for the strength training days. I really like it, it’s a definite must have."
The new FUSE will be hitting stores this Monday, 25 January on PUMA.com, PUMA Stores, Studio 88, Takealot and selected stores for a retail price of R2 299.
