When we reviewed the Puma Hybrid Runner back in January, we said it will not be the last pair from Puma we’ll see with the Nrgy beads and Ignite foam combo. Called Hybrid Foam, it provides a certain amount of bounce that's simply not present on the company’s other shoes.

This proofed to be true, since Puma now has three new styles under the Hybrid family: Hybrid Astro, Hybrid Fuego and Hybrid Sky, each of them providing different benefits and contrasting designs. However, all come with Hybrid Foam.

Hybrid Astro

Puma believes you can turn on the jets in a moment’s notice in Hybrid Astro. Built for shifting your run into high gear, Hybrid FOAM delivers heel-to-toe cushioning and energy return upon impact. PROFOAM with built-in flex grooves at the heel makes transition smooth. Netfit at the midfoot locks in support and stability and it all works together to create motion control through your entire stride.

Hybrid Astro is priced at R2 299 and can be purchased from Puma, Totalsports and selected retailers, available on the 21st of July 2019.

Hybrid Fuego

Puma believes this versatile running shoe is suiteable for pre-performance warmups and everyday gym sessions. Hybrid Foam delivers heel-to-toe cushioning and energy return upon impact, so you can power through and finish strong. This  semi-bootie upper should also provide a comfortable, sock-like feel.

The Hybrid Fuego is priced at R1 399 and can be purchased at Puma and selected retailers from 1 July 2019.

Hybrid Sky

If you’re looking for a pair of shoes with an attitude, the Sky seems to be it. With Hybrid Foam technology fused with lightweight Profoam for a smooth transition, the Sky with its external fit system will be a good training partner.

The Hybrid Sky will be priced at R1999 and can be purchased from Puma, Totalsports, Edgars, Studio 88, Takealot and selected retailers, available on the 14th of July 2019.
