Razer plans to unveil a smartphone on 1 November
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 12 October 2017 | Categories: newsWe may be nearing the end of the year, but that has not stopped manufacturers from unveiling new smartphones. Next week will see Huawei official reveal the Mate 10, but after that Razer will be throwing its hat in the mobile ring. The gaming hardware company recently acquired indie smartphone maker Nextbit, and now they're readying to release a smartphone. Well, if a tweet from the company is anything to go by.

Dubbed the company's "biggest unveiling", the image above shows a man covered in shadow, but holding what seems to be a smartphone. For now very little is known about the device, but given the company's history, we're assuming a gaming slant will be present. There could also be an element of cloud to the phone as well, as Nextbit's Robin phone featured a cloud-based operating system.
All details, however, will be revealed on 1 November.
