While Samsung has opted not to unveil the Galaxy S8 at MWC next month, it is still garnering plenty of buzz. To that end, as is often the case ahead of a high profile device debut, a leaked image has surfaced. Well known for his exploits in this regard, the leaked image comes via Venture Beat's Evan Blass, who shared the picture via Twitter.

Based off initial impressions, the Galaxy S8 will look a lot like its predecessor, with a curved body at the sides, and a combination of glass and metal for the design. Added to this, the front seems to feature an all-screen display, although it's not 100% certain as the phone is turned off.

One point of contention, however, is that the charging port is not USB Type-C, which Samsung recently gave the thumbs up for as its port of choice for future devices. This could simply be the fact that this is a demo model and not the final version.

Moving on, Venture Beat also believes the Galaxy S8 will be unveiled on 29 March, with a view to ship the device in select regions by mid-April. Their report goes on to list a number of specifications. These include a QHD Amoled display, either 5.8" or 6.2" large, along with a 12 MP rear camera 4 GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 processor (which we knew already) and 3000 mAh battery. The most interesting aspect though, will be how Samsung plans to utilise the all-screen design.

This likely will not be the last leak, so expect a better look at the Galaxy S8 in coming weeks.
