Could you be the next startup to transform the financial services industry? If you can answer in the positive then your entry is needed for the 2015 Innotribe Startup Challenge.

Launched by SWIFT in 2011, the company believes that the Innotribe Startup Challenge bridges the gap between the financial services industry and today’s brightest startups, by organising regional showcases around the world.

The challenge is open to early-stage and growth-stage startups working in financial technology or technology-enabled financial services (no consulting or outsourcing) such as payments, securities, trading, big data/data analytics, compliance, security, b2b or b2b2c mobile, small business apps and services and/or IT infrastructure.

And the winner is

So what’s in it for you? Semi-finalists are selected by the judging panel to be invited to one of the four regional showcases taking place in London, Cape Town (May 2015), Singapore and New York. If your company ranks in the top 20, you’re set for Singapore to take part in the Innotribe Startup Challenge Grand Finale, taking place at Sibos, a financial services event organised by SWIFT. It is here where companies have to convince the banking sector at large to take on their innovative products and services.

This year, growth-stage startups that are selected as finalists at the different showcases (eight in total, two per showcase), receive two tickets to Sibos per company and will host a booth on the Innotribe Stand at Sibos. They also get listed as an official exhibitor in the Sibos programme. The early-stage startup selected as winner by the Sibos participants wins a $50KUSD cash prize.
