Sesame Street does spot-on House of Cards parody
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 25 February 2015 | Categories: newsIf we told you that the people (or is that plush fur puppets) over at Sesame Street refreshed the age old Three Little Pigs story by parodying Netflix's House of Cards, you'd probably think that someone's put something in the office drinking water. But true to the above statement, Sesame Street has done a pretty spot-on parody of House of Cards' manipulative Southern Congressman Frank Underwood (played by the enigmatic Kevin Spacey).
In it Frank gets rechristened as Frank Underwolf, as he aims to take over Washington by laying waste to three porky politicians taking refuge in their straw, wood and brick houses. This new parody is well timed, as season three of House of Cards is set to hit Netflix on 27 February. Give Sesame Street's House of Bricks a watch for a little bit of childhood nostalgia, after which we'd advise clicking on the season three teaser trailer for House of Cards to see Spacey in action.
