Sony announces date and time for their E3 2017 press conference
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 4 May 2017 | Categories: newsLast year's E3 press conference saw Sony dive deeper into the gaming side of things, with a lengthy look at God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn being some of the standouts. It's a bit unclear what this year's one will hold in store, as there is no real hardware announcements expected, but we think gaming will be the focus once again.
As such, the date for 2017's E3 conference has emerged, with PlayStation set to take the stage on 12 June at 03:00 (SAST). Furthermore, as they've done for the past three years, Sony will be holding its conference in a separate venue to E3, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.
How E3 event organisers will feel about this is unknown, but as has always been the case, gamers, developers and publishers will be watching this press conference with keen interest. What PlayStation has up its sleeve should be interested, especially as Microsoft will be showcasing Project Scorpio a day earlier.
