Some good news this week for PS Plus players – not only have the forthcoming free games for July been announced, but Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe has also announced that people can buy three months worth of PS Plus at a 25% discount.

This applies to players who haven't joined the subscription service as well as those who have an active membership and just want to extend it. The offer is valid for two weeks (until the 9th of July).

Sweetening the pot is the announcement of the forthcoming free games for July, that of Quantic Dreams’ Heavy Rain and Absolver. The former is a psychological murder mystery and the previous game from Quantic Dreams prior to the recently released Detroit: Become Human. The latter is multiplayer online combat game, which sees you learning new combat skills nd acquiring new weapons for both solo duels and three on three battles.

Both become available on the PS Store from 3 July, so if are a PS Plus member and haven’t picked up your free games for June, you are probably going to want to do that while they are still available.
