Those that took the initiative to pre-order will get an extra day to play the beta, starting on 28 August, with gamers that did not, getting access on the 29th.

Recommended specs are as follows:

CPU

Intel Core i5 (2400)
AMD Ryzen R5 1600X

GPU

Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
AMD Radeon R9 390

RAM

8 GB

Minimum specs are as follows:

CPU

Intel Core i3 (3250)
AMD FX-4350

GPU

Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2 GB
AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 GB

RAM

If you've got a high powered rig, as well as a 4K display to play on, Destiny 2 could support up to 144 fps gameplay during the beta, offering gamers a solid indication of just what the forthcoming game can muster.

Speaking of release dates, just like the beta, console gamers will be the first to enjoy the action, with Destiny 2 landing on PS4 and Xbox One on 6 September. PC gamers will have to wait more than a month, with the title arriving on 24 October.
