Square Enix teases first few minutes of Final Fantasy VII Remake for PS4
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 7 December 2015 | Categories: newsIt's been a little under six months since we first saw the announcement trailer for Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Remake. Never ones to be rushed, the Japanese developers have remained fairly tight lipped about the game's look and feel. That was until this past weekend, where two minutes of gameplay from Final Fantasy VII Remake was unveiled at PlayStation Experience 2015.
Accompanying the trailer, was the news that an unremastered original version of the game would be available on the PS4, for those that perhaps want to compare and contrast how much the game's visual quality has improved in 18 years. According to Engadget, the game could also be repurposed for release as an episodic series, with each episode reportedly offering a unique experience.
Widely considered the best Final Fantasy title ever, this VII Remake looks really sharp if the trailer below is anything to go by. Our main protagonist with the big sword, Cloud Strike, looks particularly good. While a release date for the game is absent, hit play on the trailer below to see how the Remake is coming along.
