Steam slashes prices on Fallout games ahead of Fallout 4's release
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 23 October 2015 | Categories: newsIf you're not planning to watch the rugby this weekend, and looking for something else to do, might we turn your attention to Steam's latest sale, in which the entire catalogue of Fallout games have been massively discounted. For those unfamiliar with the RPG, it serves as a great primer for Fallout 4, which is slated for release on 10 November.
There are a total of eight PC versions of the games to choose from, with everything like Fallout: New Vegas for $3.39 (R46) to Fallout Classic Collection slashed to $9.99 (R134). For those wanting to pre-order Fallout 4 on PC, it is currently listed at $59.99 (R802) and is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated games of 2015.
Trick or Treat
If paying for games is still not on your agenda this weekend, then Fallout Shelter should be more up your alley. Bethesda showcased the game at E3 this year, and it has proved a great way to kill the time since, especially as its free on both iOS and Android. With Halloween on the way, Fallout Shelter will be getting in the spirit, with a few in-game changes to commemorate All Hallow's Eve. The living quarters for example, when fully upgraded to residences, will be decked out in Halloween decorations, with dwellers also donning suitably spooky costumes.
