Here’s an interesting proposition from Ster-Kinekor for movie fans. The company notes that it is premiering South Africa's first ever movie subscription club. There are two parts of the offer, with the one that seems most interesting - if you like going to the movies on your own - being what they call the MORvies Club. For R349 per month, you get unlimited movies, but limited to one ticket per movie for the cardholder. You also receive 20% off a medium popcorn and soda combo.  

If going as a couple or family is more your thing, then the Fan Club wil be the one you go for. R249 bags you four tickets per month, which can be used at the same time, plus once again 20% off a medium popcorn and soda combo. With R80 for a full priced 2D movie, you basically save R70 for four people. If all of them wanted a medium combo, that’s another R64 saved.

Unfortunately these offers aren’t available everywhere, with the Fan Club only running in Eastgate Shopping Centre (GAU), Watercrest Mall (KZN) and I'Langa Mall (MPL), while the R349 MORvies Club is only available for those going to movies in Eastgate Shopping Centre (GAU), Somerset Mall (W.C.) and Garden Route (W.C.).
