Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles receive Mutants in Manhattan game trailer
By Staff Writer 26 January 2016 | Categories: newsLate last year, we got an awesome set of trailers from Platinum Games and Activision for its cell-shaded Transformers: Devastation game. The pair are keeping the trend alive in 2016 with a new announcement trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan. The game itself pays no homage to the upcoming TMNT 2: Out of the Shadows movie, which is a good thing in our opinion, as far too seldom do movie licensed games get it right.
As evidenced by the trailer below, the game looks action packed, with the fighting dynamics leaning towards co-operative gameplay as you and your fellow heroes in a half shell perform tag team moves. Whether or not you can simply pay as your favourite Ninja Turtle throughout the game (Raphael of course) is unclear. What is certain is the big bad for Mutants in Manhattan, with the Shredder and his foot clan at it again. They are joined by Bebop and Rocksteady, as well as Armaggon (a mutated Great White Shark).
Whether or not this new game can be one of the licensed game hits instead of a dud remains to be seen, slated for release in mid-2016.
