Telltale Games releases premiere trailer for its Batman episodic game
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 20 July 2016 | Categories: newsEpisodic games have proved a real hit in recent years, with Life is Strange and Wolf Among Us, both becoming successes. The latter comes from Telltale Games, whose previous work includes episodic versions of The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. The company has since turned its attention to the Caped Crusader, detailing its Batman: The Telltale Series late last year. Now, we have a premiere trailer to enjoy, as the game readies for a cross-platform launch on 2 August.
In terms of visuals, it looks a lot like Wolf Among Us, only this time our protagonist has a penchant for bats. It also uses Gotham City as its backdrop, along with several Rogues Gallery villains joining the mix. Also playing a key part is Catwoman, who'll likely test Bruce Wayne's fortitude.
The episodic game is currently available for pre-order for around $22.50 (R322), and will be available on a number of platforms - PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows PC, iOS and Android. Hit play on the trailer below and see the Dark Knight in action.
